About

I am a bricoleur with a love of intricacy, making art from whatever materials (tangible or otherwise) come to hand. A key aspect of my practice is exploration of the Anthropocene, looking at humanity’s relationship with natural resources, something that links to my previous existence as an ecologist. Key influences include Kurt Schwitters, Tony Cragg, Anselm Kiefer, Gabriel Barredo, Aubrey Beardsley and Ilya Kabakov, with current interests including the work of Sarah Sze, Kris Kuksi, Tomoko Takahashi, Yusuke Asai, Yinka Shonibare, Chun Kwang Young and Rogan Brown, among others. I am also interested in the wellbeing aspects of art, in particular how it relates to neurodiversity (I’m autistic) and trauma (I have cPTSD).

I am based in southern England and am a resident at The Arches studios in Southampton. My pronouns are he/him.
